The former president of Uruguay died on Tuesday at age 89 at his home in Montevideo
A funeral courtship on horseback guarding the body of José ‘Pepe’ Mujica has toured on Wednesday the streets of Montevideo, stopping at the most emblematic sites of the trajectory of former Uruguayan president. Mujica died yesterday at age 89, after having received palliative care for a cancer she suffered. It is expected that in the next few hours Lula da Silva, Gabriel Boric and other important figures on the left of Latin America will go to the burning chapel to give their condolences.
