The Venezuelan opponent María Corina Machado calls Bolivians to take care of the vote with “emotion” and “discipline”
María Corina Machado, an Venezuelan opposition leader, has asked Bolivians on Sunday to take care of their votes with “emotion, discipline and intelligence.” “They go to the vote counting from 5 (local time) and register the truth that is in the minutes,” said the former deputy in a publication in her official account in X.
Machado has sent all Bolivians his “strength and affection” highlighting the day as “a historic day” for the Andean country. “From Venezuela we accompany them; yours is also our cause, and our destiny is the same: freedom, peace and prosperity,” he said.
Previously, the Venezuelan opposition leader Edmundo González Urrutia has indicated that Bolivia’s general elections are decisive for his future and for the democracy of the region. “Whole Latin America is attentive to what happens, because each free choice strengthens peace and integration between our nations,” said the former ambassador also in his X account.
