President Luis Arce: “We are going to make a democratic government traffic”
The head of state, Luis Arce, said he will deliver the government to the winner of the elections on November 8, as scheduled by the electoral body. “We are going to make history as the government that fulfilled the mandate of 2020: to recover democracy. We have not only recovered it, we have preserved it and we will deliver it in a democratic transit,” he said before the press media after casting his vote in La Paz.
Arce is the president with the second worst image in South America, according to a regional survey. He had to withdraw his candidacy to give it to his Minister of Government (Interior), Eduardo del Castillo, with an intention to vote of around 2%.
