In a view in Los Angeles, with Suzanne Perry, Matthew Perry’s mother, and Keith Morrison, her stepfather, present among the public, the call Ketamine queentrafficker Jasveen Sangha, has declared himself guilty of distributing the drug that killed the actor of Friends almost two years ago. Although on August 18 it was already learned that he had made the decision to declare himself guilty, it was this Wednesday, September 3 when Sangha has officially done it before the Court.
Sangha is the fifth of the five defendants for the death of the famous interpreter, who died drowned in his pool in October 2023, at age 54, after consuming ketamine. All of them – two doctors, a minor trafficker and Perry’s personal assistant – have been declared guilty throughout this year.
In the case of Sangha, he has pronounced the word “guilty” up to five times, for five federal positions (one for being in charge of a place where drugs were supplied, three by distribution of ketamine and one last by distribution of ketamine with the result of death), which could make decades in prison. The trial is expected to start at the end of this month.
This has been the first time that Perry’s parents have been present in one of the views of the five defendants, whose names were known after an investigation last August. The other four are two doctors, Mark Chávez and Salvador Plasencia, a trafficker named Erik Fleming and Perry’s personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa. All of them have already made pacts with the Prosecutor’s Office and are waiting for a sentence.
When asked by the judge, Jasveen Sangha, 42-year-old British-American, has assured that “there was no way of knowing 100%” that the drugs she provided to Fleming went directly to Perry. “I did not know if some of them or all,” he explained, crouching his head, on the doses of ketamine that they sold, at the highest price, to the actor, as collected by the Associated Press agency. The trafficker took a huge benefit from all this, as demonstrated by her luxurious lifestyle on Instagram, where she did not hesitate to photograph himself in luxurious stages and traveling in private planes.
