President Nicolás Maduro, dressed in uniform, has warned that he is prepared to move on “to an armed stage and planned with all the people” if Venezuela is attacked militarily. The statement has made it at the close of a new mobilization day convened for this Friday, which were summoned 8.2 million new enlisted and 4.5 million militiamen with which Chavismo ensures that it counts. However, there has also been a time to reach out: “I respect Trump, I invite him to dialogue. Hopefully reconsider.” What he did, as in previous days, was to blame Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, whom he alluded indirectly by saying that there are functions that “want to stain his hands with blood.”
Maduro made these statements dressed in campaign suit at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Military Academy, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, and surrounded by the high official of the country, within the framework of the inauguration of 5,333 units of militia to combat, encompassed a structure that Chavismo calls popular base of comprehensive defense.
These ads are made while, at the same time, the United States increases the pressure against Chavismo, declaring its military units on alert in the Caribbean area and launching serious threats to Maduro through its mouth of its Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

The Bolivarian leader reiterated that the accusations of drug trafficking made by the United States government constitute an invention “similar to that made to Saddam Hussein when they said she had weapons of mass destruction as an excuse to invade Iraq. The invention of a narrative that propagates without foundation.”
He insisted that in Venezuela there are no drug fields, and that the bulk of the drug trafficking route in South America is that of the Pacific, a circumstance that, he said, is demonstrable. “We have done a great job to reduce drug trafficking in the Caribbean, and that consists of several recent studies.”
