Flamengo has narrowly beaten Palmeiras (0-1) in a tough Final of the 2025 Copa Libertadores played in Lima, Peru. The red and black club has embroidered its fourth continental star, the third in the last decade after lifting the Libertadores in the 2022, 2019 and 1981 editions. The club led by Filipe Luís has taken advantage of a corner in the second half to go ahead on the scoreboard with a header from Danilo that was unattainable by goalkeeper Carlos Miguel. Flamengo’s title also represents a rematch of the 2021 final held in Montevideo, where the Verdão They won 2-1 with goals from Raphael Veiga and Deyverson.
