The Santander Local Police has denounced a 58 -year -old man after having stopped when he was driving in the city center and verifying that he was talking on the mobile while the boy who was traveling with him in the vehicle had climbed to the trunk tray.
As sources from the local police have informed Efe, the driver should not place the child in the approved chair that is mandatory for his age, so the child ended up climbing to the trunk tray, where he was located by the agents.
The events occurred last Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m., on Rio de la Pila de Santander street. At the time it was located by the agents, the man was driving holding the mobile phone with his hand and, when identified, it was found that he circulated without the driving license, which had been removed by loss of all the points.
The man has been denounced for a crime against road safety for driving without a card and two complaints have been imposed, for talking on his mobile and having a minor inside the vehicle without mandatory protection measures.
