The Girona coach, Miguel Ángel Sánchez, Míchel, is hospitalized after having suffered a health problem, as the Catalan club announced this Friday morning. “It is under medical observation by caution and evolves favorably,” clarifies the Catalan entity through a statement, which details that doctors are giving it “adequate care” and is expected to recover “in the next few days.” At the time, Girona appreciates “understanding and respect for privacy at the moment.” The coach, of course, will not be able to lead the team from the bench in the League match that faces Girona against Villarreal on Saturday.
The Girona, who won Mallorca (1-0) last Monday at home thanks to those three points harvested in Montilivi, which away from six of the Las Palmas Sports Union, which currently marks the descent to Second Division.
